Jonathan Aller received his B.F.A in illustration at the Ringling College of Art and Design.  Shortly after graduating, his love for painting took him to Florence, Italy to study at the Angel Academy of Art Atelier under Maestro John Michael Angel.  At the Angel Academy, he was taught the techniques of the masters in drawing and painting. Jonathan received his M.F.A. in Visual Studies from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. He is a recipient of the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant. His current work explores chaos and restraint intermixing contemporary and naturalistic approaches.
